WILMINGTON – Miami Trace held off Wilmington 23-21 in a junior varsity girls basketball game Wednesday at Fred Summers Court.

Wilmington was just 3 for 12 at the free throw line in the loss. Miami Trace was 9 for 13.

Karlie Morgan had eight points to pace the Lady Hurricane offense.

Jenna Victor had six points and Sami McCord added five. Tiara Harris and Heather Fryman had one free throw each.

Becca Ratliff had two baskets in the final quarter and finished with 11 points to lead the Lady Panthers.

Tori Evans had five points and Aubrey Schwartz scored four. Olivia Wolffe had two points for Trace. Grace Bapst rounded out the scoring with one free throw.
