Massie JV bowlers split with Washington, Trace

The Clinton-Massie junior varsity boys bowling team split matches with two Fayette County schools Wednesday at Royal Z Lanes.

The Falcons had 1,362, good enough to defeat Washington (1,093) but not Miami Trace (1,803).

“The JV boys continue to show improvement each and every day,” said CM coach Shonda Marburger. “They are understanding the fundamentals which helps them with their game. Their scores a rising and are becoming more consistent. This group of boys are the future of the boys bowling team and with no doubt, I know that they will be ready.”

Adin Lamb led the way for the Falcons with a 270 series (134, 136).

John Gehringer had 116 and 134 games while Luke Campbell finished with 88 and 149. Hunter Broderick had 97 and 103. Logan Rauh had a single game of 94.

Baker games for the JV boys were 77, 144 and 90.
