26 sentenced in CC Municipal Court

WILMINGTON — The following report is compiled using a disposition report provided by Clinton County Municipal Court. The information includes the defendant’s name, age, residence if listed, charge(s) disposed, fine, court costs assessed, jail sentence and any special conditions. Municipal Judge Mike Daugherty oversees the court, which administers the law in criminal misdemeanor cases.

The following pled guilty or were found guilty of crimes between Dec. 19 and Dec. 23:

• Erin Garrett, 35, of Wilmington, child endangerment, possession of drug instruments, theft, sentenced to 450 days in jail, fined $2,750, assessed $375 court costs. Probation to assess for residential treatment. Garrett was demanded to serve this sentence, pay $75 in restitution, write a letter of apology to the victim, and have no contact with them.

• Adam Garrett, 37, of Wilmington, child endangerment, possession of drug instruments, failure to reinstate fee, sentenced to 270 days in jail, fined $1,850, assessed $250 court costs. Probation to assess treatment, pay fine only on drug instrument charge. Two other charges of child endangerment were dismissed. A charge of driving under suspension was dismissed. An additional charge of possessing drug instruments was dismissed.

• Edward Gee II, 23, of Wilmington, two charges of theft, sentenced to 360 days in jail (343 days suspended), fined $2,000, assessed $250 court costs. Gee must take part in supervised probation if compliant court will suspend $1,000 of fine. Gee must pay restitution of $393.13 to the victim, write a letter of apology to victim, must make no contact with the victim must complete 100 hours of community service, 50 with the Murphy Theatre Project. An additional charge of criminal mischief was dismissed.

• Marissa Livingston, 40, of Sabina, theft, sentenced to 180 days in jail (176 suspended), fined $100, assessed $125 court costs. Livingston must take part in supervised probation not to exceed two years, must pay restitution, must have no contact with the victim, and write a letter of apology.

• Hunter Valentine, 19, of Martinsville, reckless operation, sentenced to 30 days in jail, fined $250, assessed $125 court costs. The charge was amended to an O.V.I. misdemeanor 1. Valentine has completed three-day non-residential driving intervention program, taking three days of jail credit. Jail suspension balanced on condition no further offenses for two years, complete non-reporting for two years, ALS was vacated. Additional charges of O.V.I. and prohibited turn was dismissed.

• Amie Newcomb, 43, of Columbus, reckless operation, sentenced to 30 days in jail, fined $250, assessed $125 court costs. The charge was amended from O.V.I. misdemeanor 1, must have no offenses for one year, complete non-reporting probation. Newcomb has already completed three-day non-residential driving intervention program. ALS vacated. An additional charge of going 91 in a 70 mph speed zone was dismissed.

• Clay Cochran, 20, of Clarksville, reckless operation, sentenced to 30 days in jail, fined $500, assessed $125 court costs. The charge was amended from O.V.I. misdemeanor 1. Cochran must complete SOP at Solutions. ALS vacated.

• Adam Glassmeyer, 38, of Cincinnati, having physical control of a vehicle while under the influence, sentenced to 180 days in jail, operator’s license suspended from Dec. 22, 2016 to Dec. 22, 2017, fined $1,000, assessed $125 court costs. Jail stayed, must complete non-reporting probation, no alcohol use at all, ALS vacated.

• Kyle Huston, 24, of Martinsville, having weapons while under disability. This case was transferred to Clinton County Common Pleas Court.

• Kody Huston, 19, of Martinsville, dog at large, failure to reinstate license, sentenced to 125 days in jail, fined $125, assessed $150 court costs.

• Jennifer McCauley, 45, possession of marijuana, fined $100, assessed $125 court costs.

• Julie Bowermaster, 50, of Wilmington, disorderly conduct, sentenced to 30 days in jail (29 days suspended), fined $150, assessed $125 court costs. Bowermaster must have no alcohol use for the rest of 2016.

• Christopher Horsley, 33, of Wilmington, drug paraphernalia, driving under suspended license for failing to appear/pay fine child support, fined $200, assessed $250 court costs.

• Ontario Jones, 48, of Columbus, failure to reinstate license, fined $50, assessed $125 court costs.

• Robert Stewart, 45, of Wilmington, obstruction official business, driving under suspension, assessed $125 court costs. Obstructurion charge was amended from failure to comply. An additional charge of no tail lights was dismissed.

• Jay Thompson, Jr., 19, of Cincinnati, marijuana possession, fined $100, assessed $125 court costs.

• Shyaine Payne, 23, of Wilmington, marijuana possession, fined $50, assessed $125 court costs.

• Alfredo Lanay, 34, of Hamilton, failure to reinstate fee, fined $100, assessed $125 court costs. Additional charges of driving under suspension, and going 68 in a 55 mph speed zone was dismissed.

• Jason Clark, 38, of Cleveland, going 95 in a 70 mph speed zone, fined $105, assessed $125 court costs.

• Jennifer Pence, 32, of Wilmington, going 74 in a 55 mph speed zone, sentenced to 10 days in jail (suspended), operator’s license suspended from Dec. 27, 2016 to Dec. 30 2016 fined $250, assessed $125 court costs. Pence must take part in non-reporting probation for six months, must commit no speed offenses for six months.

• Frank Campos, 28, of Harrison, driving under suspension-financial, fined $100, assessed $125 court costs.

• Jessica Huff, 27, of Washington Court House, theft, sentenced to 10 days in jail (nine days suspended), fined $100, assessed $125 court costs. Huff must write a letter of apology, must have no contact with the victim and pay $65.56 restitution. A charge of driving under financial responsibility law suspension or cancellation and a tax/sticker violation charge were dismissed.

• Jesse Smith, 22, disorderly conduct, sentenced to 10 days in jail (suspended), fined $100, assessed $125 court costs. The charge was amended from assault misdemeanor 1, must have no contact with victim, write a letter of apology and have no offenses for one year.

• Paige Myer, 18, of Dublin, going 90 in a 70 mph speed zone, fined $105, assessed $125 court costs.

• Holli Hohman, 31, of Columbus, going 96 in a 70 mph speed zone, fined $105, assessed $125 court costs.

• Bonney Irvin, 62, of Gainesville, going 92 in a 70 mph speed zone, fined $105, assessed $125 court costs. The case was waived by the defendant.
