FAIRFIELD — Katie Hottinger was the runnerup Saturday in the Back To School Bash girls high school bowling tournament at the Game of Fairfield bowling center.

Hottinger had games of 249 and 161 for a 410 series, earning her the second place on the all-tournament team, WHS coach Josh Fisher said.

Sarah Waln had a 351 series with games of 160 and 191.

As a team, Wilmington had games of 786 and 702 for a 1,488 series. Baker games for the Lady Hurricane were 140 and 157.

In the baker game bracket portion of the tournament, Wilmington faced off against Hamilton in a best-of-3 format. The Lady Hurricane won the first game 138 to 134 but lost the next two games 144 to 127 and 163 to 102.
