After a back and forth first three quarters, the Blanchester seventh grade girls basketball team was defeated by New Richmond 27-17 Wednesday night.
“I am very proud of how these girls played, not only today, but all season,” Blanchester coach Bella Cook said. “It’s been tough, but they never gave up. I have a great time coaching them and look forward to the tournaments.”
Zoie Stanforth had eights points and an assist, three rebounds and a blocked shot.
Maddie Creager had six points and eight rebounds. Daelyn Staehling had two points, a rebound and a blocked shot.
Lacie Tedrick chipped in with a free throw. Taylor Combs had a block and a rebound.
Aleah Wells had a blocked shot. Maddison Ogden had a block and a rebound.
Kenzie Kratzer had a steal.Emma Winemiller grabbed a rebound.
