BHS volleyball picks up win over BT on Senior Night

BLANCHESTER – The Blanchester volleyball team blitzed Bethel-Tate 25-15, 25-18, 25-12 Wednesday night in a SBAAC National Division match at the BHS gym.

It was Senior Night and four seniors were honored – Asia Baldwin, Audrey Heitzman, Shelbie Rose and Cheyenne Brown.

“It was a great win for the seniors on their Senior night,” BHS coach Jenna Weisflock said. “The four seniors have put a lot of heart and soul in this program the last four years. They are really going to be missed.”

Rose finished with 23 assists, a kill, four perfect passes and 17 points. Baldwin recorded six kills, two blocks, five perfect passes and seven points. Brown chipped in with three kills, a dig, five perfect passes and seven points. Heitzman had two kills, a perfect pass and 18 points.

Casey Kingsland had an assist, three perfect passes and three points. Ally Davis had an assist, five kills, a dig, nine perfect passes and four points. Morgan Oberle finished the match with 12 kills, five blocks, nine perfect passes and a point. Kassidy Abney had three perfect passes. Holly Scott had a dig and five points and Caili Baumann chipped in with a point.
