Georgetown upsets East Clinton 8-6 in tournament battle

LEES CREEK — Georgetown upset East Clinton 10-2 Monday in a Division III sectional tournament game at ECHS.

The teams split games during the regular season, East Clinton winning 7-6 in the first game and Georgetown winning 24-3 on April 26.

The Astros, who were the higher seed in the tournament battle, are 8-15. Georgetown goes to 11-9.
