AMES, IOWA — A Blanchester resident was one of nearly 1,800 graduates who received degrees from Iowa State University in December.

Wilmington College recently announced those students who completed their studies by earning bachelor of science or bachelor of arts degrees following the 2022 fall semester. They are eligible to participate in the college’s 147th annual commencement on May 13.

SSCC announces honors list for the fall semester

Southern State Community College has released its President’s List and Dean’s List for academic excellence for fall semester 2022. To be eligible for the President’s List, a student must maintain a 4.0-grade point average while carrying a specific number of academic credit hours. Those who achieve the Dean’s List are full-time students who have earned at least a 3.5-grade point average out of a possible 4.0.

Pickard named to Trine University President’s List

ANGOLA, IND. — Grant Pickard, of Wilmington, a Trine University student, was named to the President’s List for the Fall 2022 term.

Local graduates from UD, earns Dean’s List

Drew Spendlove, Wilmington High School Class of 2018, graduated from the University of Dayton (UD) on Dec. 17, 2022 with a bachelor of mechanical engineering (BME) degree and earned Dean’s List with a 4.0 GPS for the fall 2022 term.

Two locals named to Muskingum University Dean’s List

Mackenzie Snarr and Avery Warix, of Wilmington, have been named to the fall 2022 Dean’s List at Muskingum University in New Concord, Ohio. To be named to the Dean’s List, students must earn a term GPA of 3.60 or above on a minimum load of 12 completed semester hours of A-F graded coursework.
