CEDARVILLE — The following students were named to the fall 2022 Dean’s Honor List at Cedarville University. Students receive this achievement for obtaining a 3.75 GPA or higher for the semester and carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours.

Area students named to Wilmington College Dean’s List

A number of area students have been named to the Dean’s List at Wilmington College for the Fall 2022 semester. To be considered for this honor, students must be enrolled full time and have completed the term with a minimum 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.

WC lecture series to highlight Quaker values with performance artist

WILMINGTON — Jon Watts is a Quaker singer/songwriter, videographer and multimedia artist. As a songwriter, he has toured the country sharing stories of the early Friends and his own spiritual journey growing up Quaker in Richmond, Va., and attending the Quaker Leadership Scholars Program at Guilford College.

Trey Cochran, a Martinsville student majoring in management, was named to the fall 2022 Dean’s List at Cedarville University. Students receive this recognition for obtaining a 3.5 GPA or higher for the semester and carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours.

Dr. Goodwin reappointed as Higher Learning Commission peer reviewer

Dr. Erika Goodwin, vice president of academic affairs at Southern State, of Wilmington, has been selected by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) for reappointment as peer reviewer to serve a four-year term (Sept. 1, 2023 – Aug. 31, 2027). This will be her third term serving in the role.
