Celebrating the second-annual Cincinnati Reds’ Opening Day celebration at Ohio Living Cape May in preparation for Thursday’s game, residents indulged in classic ballpark delights of hot dogs, nachos, and Cracker Jacks on Tuesday, March 19. “Mr. Redlegs” joined the residents as part of the festivities.

Bound by love and companionship

WILMINGTON — “Dakota Sue,” a beloved local carriage dog, passed away on Feb. 28. Known for her lively presence, Dakota Sue was a familiar sight at numerous local events, including Oktoberfest in New Vienna, Martinsville Christmas in the Village, the Holidazzle event in Wilmington, street rides downtown, weddings, funerals, and parades, such as the Waynesville and Lebanon Christmas parades.

Woods, Steed win commissioner primaries, according to BOE unofficial results

WILMINGTON — According to unofficial results from the Clinton County Board of Elections, two county commissioner races at the Republican primary concluded with Brenda K. Woods and Kerry R. Steed emerging victorious.

Shidaker wins close primary race for county prosecutor

WILMINGTON — Brian Shidaker, the Wilmington deputy public service director, has won the Republican primary in the race to become the new county prosecutor, according to unofficial results from the Clinton County Board of Elections.
