WILMINGTON — At Wednesday morning’s Clinton County Commissioners meeting, Southern State Community College’s president, Nicole Roades, along with SSCC board member Col. Brian Prickett, gave a presentation highlighting the pivotal role of community colleges during Community College Awareness Month.

Three-vehicle crash backs up traffic on I-71

Authorities responded to a traffic crash involving a semi-trailer and two vehicles on I-71 North, occurring around 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 23. Traffic on I-71 North is currently slightly backed up, but vehicles are being directed through the area. No serious injuries were reported.
